Supreme Court nominee Elana Kagan, looks very much like British funnyman David Mitchell (of “Peep Show” and “That Mitchell and Webb Look”).  That is all.

Incredible.

Pendulum remix the classic ABC NEWS THEME.

in my new quest to find the worlds ‘best’ political advertisement I came across this gold care of the punch

“i’ll name names and take no prisoners”

battle over the Labour carcass

David Miliband, the former Foriegn Secretary, has thrown his hate in the ring for the Labour parties top job with a rather lengthy speech. In a truly oxbridge move he has called on all candidates for the leadership to refrain from a negative campaign.

The country will not be looking at us carefully in the next few months, but they will notice us; they will be quietly judging our character; they will not follow the details of what we say but they will notice how we behave.

So this campaign needs to be a credit to the party. I propose to run my campaign in the following ways, to bring credit to the party: there will be no negative briefing about other candidates; it’s not my way and I won’t be starting now; we will tackle unattributable briefing through my named spokeswoman Lisa Tremble.

It will be interesting to see if a party that is still healing from wounds of an electoral defeat can manage to avoid a bloody around of self flagellation.

Simply brilliant: Dan Pink’s presentation illustrates motivation and a remarkable MIT study: For simple tasks rewards seem to work fabulously, but if the case is getting complicated, money doesn’t work.
